Fun in the Sun at Six Flags
Two days ago, my friends and I took a trip down to Six Flags Magic Mountain for some fun. We had a buy 1 get 1 free coupon, so we only had to pay half price each. Except for me however, as there was only the 3 of us and I wanted a season pass. So, after twenty torturous minutes of the opening ceremony, we raced straight to X2, which looked just like X, with maybe a new paint job and an extra loop or so. Well, the line to X2 was short, as the park had just opened, but it seemed that we would still have to wait over an hour to get on it- the ride hadn't opened yet. So, down but getting better, we went to ride Tatsu, expecting a long wait. We were happily wrong, and we got flying about a half hour after we set foot in line. Immediately rejuvenated, except for my female friend who was a little dizzy, we wondered what to do next before we decided to do a quick ride before lunch, and thus we got to Viper, the first loop coaster I had ever ridden. It took about ten minutes before we headed off to Wascals, the delicious burger joint near Goliath. After we ate, we went on that carnival swing ride to get our stomachs ready for Goliath. Goliath, which was so empty we were able to get in two rides in ten minutes, and that was mostly just walking through the extraordinarily long line area. After that, we just went around, snapping up all the rides except Batman before 3:00. So, we rested, filled out the season pass thing, rode the carousel, and layed down on the grass. At around 7:30, we went to Batman and got out at around 9:00. At that point, we decided to go eat funnel cake and go home.
